One actor who has showed Bollywood his talents slowly and steadily is Ajay Devgan. The very down to earth actor who has given powerful performances film after film and even showed the world his caliber in film making, has always maintained a low profile. He has been awarded with the Jasarat Award from the Urdu Press Club of India at a ceremony held at honored Ajay Devgan with the at Kanpur.
He has been awarded for his socially awakening films like Zakhm, Gangaajal, Apaharan, Legend of Bhagat Singh, Halla Bol and U Me Aur Hum that is about Alzheimer. Though he was unable to personally receive the award, he sent a personal note speaking highly on the Urdu language. Historian author Amaresh Misra also received the Jasarat award along with Ajay Devgan.
