Yesterday news broke that thespian Amitabh Bachchan? met with a major car accident when one of the rear wheels of his Mercedes got detached in Kolkata. Fans and well-wishers immediately took to social media asking Big B about his well being.
Amitabh Bachchan confirmed his well being and denied meeting with an accident on social media, where fans were going crazy about his well being.
The actor tweeted, “T 2713 – I am informed by concerned well wishers and media, that I had a close escape from a car accident in Kolkata…that is incorrect…there has been no accident…I am well…”
Amitabh Bachchan was visiting the city of Kolkata for the inauguration of the 23rd Kolkata International Film Festival.
On the work front, Big B is busy shooting for two big projects, such as Thugs Of Hindostan and 102 Not Out.
“Thugs of Hindustan” is an upcoming period action-adventure film, written and directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya. The film stars Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh in lead roles. The film is set to be released during Diwali, 2018.
“102 Not Out” is a comedy-drama film starring Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor in the lead roles. This film is based on a running Gujrati play written by Saumya Joshi by the same name and is being directed by Umesh Shukla.
