Actress Ankita Lokhande who had illustrious career in television industry hoped that audience will continue to support her in future as well.
Ankita Lokhande interacted with media when she celebrated Act Diva – Women’s Day which was organized by Animedh Charitable Trust on Tuesday in Mumbai.
Ankita Lokhande revealed recently that her debut Bollywood film, Kangana Ranaut starrer ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’ will release on August 3, 2018 in which she playing character of Jhalakri Bai. Now, the first look of the actress from the film has been revealed, talking about response from audience to her first look, Ankita said, “I always received love from the audience so I am really happy that they are with me and I hope they will continue to support me in future as well”
Talking about attending Act Diva – Women’s day celebration, Ankita said, “Since childhood, I am always inspired to be associated with social causes as I like to do that. Today I am honored and glad to be here. I think the kind of work which they are doing is really good and which we always think of rather than doing it. I came here just as a chief guest but they are real heroes. This NGO is doing some amazing work for the rehabilitation and empowerment of women through employment and I think women are not less than anyone. Woman is who do all the housework and takes care of her children so, I think when a woman will come to know about her powers then she will be unstoppable”
When asked Ankita how she felt when she felicitated women’s for their achievement at the event, she said, “It was really good. I think they are real heroines of their life and we just act in films and it really feels good when you do something and you get recognition for it so, I am very to give an award to someone who is real hero”
Ankita has underwent extensive training in sword fighting for almost two months with Hollywood action director Nick Powell to prepare for ‘Manikarnika’, who has choreographed films such as Braveheart, The Last Samurai and Bourne Identity.
Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi is based on the life of Rani Laxmibai of Jhansi. Initially set to release in April, Manikarnika The Queen of Jhansi is now expected to come out on August 3. It is directed by Krish with script by K V Vijayendra Prasad, who has co-written Baahubali and Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
