The newlyweds Anushka and Virat are hosting their second reception in Mumbai for all the Bollywood and cricket celebrities at St. Regis, Lower Parel.
Anushka was seen in, side slick hair with cascading curls and nude lips to go with the elegant vibe of her ensemble. At this second reception, the actress wore Sabyasachi creation. The dull gold heavily embroidered and embellished lehenga set was teamed with a matching dupatta, cinched at the waist with a signature Sabyasachi belt. She completed the heavy dress with simple earing studs, a diamond neckpiece and traditional Punjabi red bangles set.
Hubby Virat Kohli, on the other hand, wore a navy velvet bandhgala which he paired with a pair of white pants and brown shoes.
The first celebrities to arrive were Boman Irani and his wife Zenobia. Anushka and Boman have shared screen space in PK. Even the film’s director Rajkumar Hirani with producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Film Critic Anupama Chopra turned up to bless the new couple.
Jasprit Bumrah, Anil Kumble, Ravindra Jadeja, Wriddhiman Saha, and MS Dhoni with wife were one of the first few cricketers spotted arriving at the reception.
Twitter handle @ViratCrew, has been sharing updates of the event, one such tweet also mentioned musical King A. R. Rahman and his wife were seen entering the venue.
The couple was spotted entering the venue around 5:30 PM in their casual outfits.
The duo had hosted a grand reception in Delhi on 21st December for their close friends and family members, which was also attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
