Veteran Actress Divya Dutta is quite happy with the success of her movie, Badumoshai Bandookbaaz, says audience is the king.

A crime drama directed by Kushan Nandy, Starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Bidita Bag and Divya Dutta in the lead roles went through a massive ordeal at the hands of CBFC. The film was ordered 48 cuts, despite hassled released the film has emerged as winner at Box-office.

Divya Dutta and the entire cast and crew celebrated the success party here in Mumbai. During her media interaction the actress spoke about the cuts and success of the film.

She said, “I think audience is the biggest King. I think they know what they want to see and what they like and I think this time also they have won. We all are adults here, we should have all the freedom to watch, what we want to watch”

“I’ve been traveling. First I was in Ahmadabad, then Punjab and Banaras, I think people have seen the film not just once, they probably have seen two-three times. I keep getting so many messages every day, so much love we’re getting, so it feels really nice that people are enjoying the film and going out to watch it because nowadays it doesn’t happen all that much” added Divya Dutta.

Babumoshai Bandookbaaz is relentless at the box office. It’s incredible to see that this is the only film which managed to stand tall from the last weekend’s multi-releases.

Other Big releases, such as A Gentleman, Qaidi Band, Sniff and few more withered at box-office, only Nawaz’s BB has a good and steady response.
