Hollywood actress Barbara Mori was going to come to India in early January. But due to the recent terrorist attacks all the producers of Kites were really worried about the fact whether Barbara would be visiting the country or not. According to sources, Barabara will be still visiting the country only after re-assurance of increase in on-set security.
According to sources,”Last schedule of the film Kites is supposed to begin from mid-December and will have Kangana and Hrithik in it. Only after they are done Barbara will arrive. The producers confirmed that the security on the sets has been increased after the attacks and that Barbara being their guest will get more security so that she feels safe. Hrithik also happened to be very tensed after he came to know about the attacks and therefore extra security will be provided to all the leading stars of Kites i.e. Hrithik, Kangana Ranaut and Barbara Mori.”
“Due to the attacks, initially there was a possibility of postponing the schedule but as the schedule was tight it wasn’t possible. When the images of Taj and the Oberoi burning were shown all over the world, Barbara saw them and was very tensed and worried so she kept calling Hrithik and Susanne. She was constantly discussing whether it was safe or not to come to India. It was only after Hrithik assured her safety that she was convinced” conclude the sources.
Kites is supposed to be releasing in May 2009.
