Bhumi Pednekar debuted in “Dum Laga Ke Haisha” opposite Ayushmann Khurrana and now she has been paired with “Vicky Donor” actor once again and shares her working experience with him.
“Dum Laga Ke Haisha” debutant Bhumi Pednekar is all set to repeat box-office history with Ayushmann Khurrana in upcoming socially aware and meaningful movie “Shubh Mangal Saavdhan” and actress believes that they both have evolved as actors, who aren’t afraid to criticise and help one another.
“I think we’ve also become great friends, especially on this film. We did Dum Laga Ke Haisha together but in this one we really helped one another, professionally. We are just there for each other and help one another with work related criticism” adds Bhumi.
Shubh Mangal Saavdhan is based on “erectile dysfunction” discovered during the courtship, but actress has a different outlook about the film.
“Our film celebrates the imperfection of a relationship. No relationship is prefect, no relationship has perfect romance, usually on-screen we see happy images, and everything is great”
“But small things also matters, though it is not a small thing (issue in the film) but our film speaks about True love and how you can win over the toughest battle if you’re together” says Bhumi.
Shubh Mangal Savdhan is the remake of Tamil comedy, Kalyana Samayal Saadham by RS Prasanna, who also directed the Hindi version.
The movie opens in theaters on 1st September 2017.
