Shahrukh Khan, Aamir Khan at the producer_s meet to solve the multiplex issue on 7th April 2009 (12).JPGJust before leaving for current shooting schedule of his My Name Is Khan, Karan Johar announced that the film would be released next year instead of December this year. Also reports are trickling in that Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s 3 Idiots starring Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor will now come in the first quarter of 2010.

Our source reveals, “At the meeting of the core committee of producers and distributors, held on 19th June, Mukesh Bhatt is reported to have announced that Vinod Chopra had conveyed to him their plans to postpone the release of their films to 2010. As it is, the year 2009 so far has been extremely dull for the box-office. Imagine what it will be like, now that these two big films are not likely to hit the screens in the second half.”
