Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Stree is being praised by the fraternity member and audience on the release day.

A special screening was held for the fraternity on thursday night which was attended by cast and crew along side actress, Vani Kapoor, Siddhant Kapoor, Padmini Kolhapure, Gul Panag, Taapsee Paanu, Vicky Kaushal, and many more.

Kriti Sanon who has a special appearance in the song “Aao Kabhi Haveli Pe” said the film is a superb blend of horror and comedy. “Just watched #Stree ! Actor Taapsee Pannu also took to twitter on Friday and tweeted, “It’s so good to see horror comedy done right in a Hindi film. Congratulations to the entire team of #Stree @amarkaushik #Dinoo @RajkummarRao #AbhishekBanerjee @Aparshakti #PankajTripathi @ShraddhaKapoor go watch it for a good laugh with a tinge of spook!”

Kartik Aryan praised all the performances and tweeted, “#Stree is a perfect mix of comedy n horror @amarkaushik @RajkummarRao bro wat an amazing performance @Aparshakti n @nowitsabhi u guys wer 2 gud @TripathiiPankaj sir aap chaa gayein N d girl wid no name @ShraddhaKapoor u wer fab Congrats #DineshVijan @MaddockFilms”

Filmmaker Hansal Mehta who worked with Rao on Ometra said, he feels proud of the actor. “And @RajkummarRao i repeat as I do every time I see your performances – I’m so proud of you. You inspire me. Happy birthday my dearest Raj. #Stree will rock!”

The horror comedy ‘Stree’ directed by Amar Kaushik stars Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor in lead roles.

Produced by Maddock Films the film released on 31st August.
