Oh it feels so great to wake up in the morning and look forward to what I love the most- why! It’s giving you your latest dose of gossip! I tell you, there is nothing more rewarding than knowing that you are making a difference in someone’s life; however small or trivial it might be. In today’s tension filled crazy world, it feels good to know that I can bring a smile to a couple of faces. Obviously, our Bollywood junta will agree with this philosophy of mine because they go to no lengths to ensure that I have a lot of grub to give you. The poor dears tire themselves silly when they go out of their way to do stupid and remarkably bizarre things just to get your attention. Aren’t they the best?
I know, I know. This Shahid Kareena thing has been going on for too long. It’s actually begun boring me now. Like, hello, people don’t really care about this relationship issue which is being stretched like bubble gum. So now, the latest development is that Kareena’s mommy Babita is going from pillar to post to ensure that her daughter’s life comes back on track. Oh yes, rebellious and impulsive Bebo has always been a worry for her ma. Word has it that Babita is actually trying to convince whoever has the misfortune of being around her that all is great in her baby’s life. Too bad no one told that to Bebo as this baby was the one to announce her break up and then shy away from it. Gawd! If this is another publicity stunt, I think I’m going to throw up…
Tanushree Dutta
Talking about throwing up, there’s this little amusing bit on Tanushree Dutta. I am sure the judges from Miss India who voted her as the best in the contest must be balking everytime they see her on screen. Not only does the darling have no class, she is downright cheap. As if acting and posing in cheese cake shots and B-Grade films is not enough, she later denies doing it! But then again sweeties, that is old news. Right now the word is that this queen of the rags is not signing any films. Supposedly, it is not because of no offers. According to her people, she turns down at least two offers in a day (We SURELY believe that….). This is because she is waiting for her film Dhol to release. You see, she is totally confident that this film will help her get her footing in tinsel town and after that she will have her pick from the best projects. She has even decided to hike her fee up to 51 lakhs. Well, Tannu baby, all I have is an important piece of advice for you- don’t build castles in the air…
Jugal Hansraj
She could learn a lesson or two from Jugal Hansraj. I know, I know…you are wondering Jugal Who Raj, Right? Well, remember the cute little kid from Masoom, or the very forgettable shy boy from Mohabbatein? Yea…it’s the same guy. Though things looked pretty good for him as a child actor, it was all the way downhill after that. In recent times, the only thing left to see is his obituary because his career is just about as dead as it gets. Recently he was spotted at the premiere of Dhamaal. Though we know he was there, not many people there wanted to spot him. As a result, he found himself alone and friendless. Poor boy was slinking around, part of the periphery and finally took solace in playing a game on his phone. Finally someone took pity on the boy and made small talk. I’m sure he wishes to go back to his cute wide eyed look from Masoom.
Esha Deol
What’s up between Esha Deol and Zayed Khan? The normally reticent chicka does not give time of day to most of her male co stars, but the rules are bent to accommodate Mr. Playboy himself. Word has it that the two have been spending a lot of time off late and before you go like “Zayed and Esha?!”, let me tell you that she is lending a patient ear and a hefty shoulder to his woes. Oh ya. Apparently, lover boy has been having problems with a certain lady love of his who is serious about him. Oh what ever. All I can say is that the damn girl must be out of her mind. Maybe if she saw any of his movies, she would change her mind in a jiffy. As for Esha, I think the girl will do just about anything, even listen to Zayed’s screwed up love life, to get away from niggling questions about Aftab Sivadasani.
Oh, before I forget, I must tell you about Boney Kapoor and his dilemma. Poor man is quite traumatized after all that has been going wrong for him. Even Sri whispering sweet nothings into his ears is not doing the trick as he is quite flustered. You see, he has taken Salman’s arrest and imprisonment very personally. He thinks it’s a bad omen for his film – Wanted – Dead or Alive. Though Sri and Boney have thrown themselves into the project whole heartedly, there is bound to be trouble when one of the stars is missing because he is in police custody. The poor guy is consulting numerologists and tarot card readers to come up with a suitable name. Well, Boney honey, what’s in a name after all? Are you sure that the movie is worth while or is it going to be a sequel to your Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja?
Oh dear god…these stars are like little kids. I have to be behind them all day to given you the exact lowdown on what’s happening in their lives… but at the end of the day, their antics bring a smile to my face, which I’m sure is common for us all. So let’s thank them for making our lives more interesting. As far as thanking me is concerned, oh sweetie pies, don’t you worry about that. Just promise to be here next week and share some hot gossip with me!
