Carbon is First Official Hindi Sci-Fi Film – Jackky Bhagnani

Carbon is First Official Hindi Sci-Fi Film” says actor and producer Jackky Bhagnani during the trailer launch here in Mumbai.

Prachi Desai and Jackky Bhagnani unveiled the trailer of short movie titled Carbon, based in distinct future, in 2067 when earth is infested with pollution and carbon emission hazards and Oxygen is not free but a high valued product.
During the media interaction, Jackky Bhagnani hailed the movie as first official Hindi sci-fi made in accordance with Indian taste.
“I am quite modest at times but this time I don’t want to be modest. We usually look at Hollywood and think; we should makes movies like them, so this is first official Hindi Sci-fi film. I don’t know whether audience is going to like or not? But they won’t be able to say that it is like western movie. This is our own version”
Further talking about the movie, Jackky Bhagnani said the movie is based on Oxygen trading like any other commodity in world.
“Just like Drugs, Money, Petrol and Gold is traded, we have shown the trading of Oxygen, which is a possibility in coming future. It is exactly like, when water started to sell, people rejected the idea but it is a reality” adds Jackky.
The movie also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui in a grey avatar, he plays the role of a man, who deals in Oxygen.
In association with Large Short Films, written & directed by Maitrey Bajpai and Ramiz Ilham Khan, produced by Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh and Gautam Gupta, Carbon will be released on Large Short Films’ YouTube channel.
