After unveiling a quirky and mysterious poster, the acting powerhouse Vidya Balan unveils a pre-teaser message from upcoming Tumhari Sulu.
Vidya Balan is all set to be back as a radio jockey in her upcoming film Tumhari Sulu. She played an RJ before in Lage Raho Munna Bhai.
Recently, the makers unveiled the first poster of Tumhari Sulu and it’s quirky. In the poster, Vidya is seen hiding her face behind gift hampers and a bag full of vegetables. She is seen wearing a red saree.
Today, Vidya Balan released a video on her social media account, which confirms the teaser release and first look from the film. She captioned the video, “Message from #TumhariSulu 🙂 #tseries #ellipsisentertainment”
In the video, Vidya Balan is seen sporting a saree, a big red bindi on her forehead and the wondrous expression on her face. She is seen saying, “Hi, pahchana? Main Tumhari Sulu. Mera naa Teaser aa Raha hain, Dekhna, Aur uske baad picture bhi aaiye, Dekhna naa, pakka promise”
Vidya Balan has her diction and mannerism to the dot as Bengali middle-class housewife to the tee. Tumhari Sulu is a comedy-drama, which will be directed by adman Suresh Triveni. The film also stars Neha Dhupia and Manav Kaul in pivotal roles.
It is also reported that in the film, Vidya will be recreating Mr. India’s popular song Hawa Hawai, as her character Sulu is a big fan of Sridevi and actress wanted to pay a true tribute to the original, reviving it in its full glory.
It is slated to release on December 1, 2017.
