Director and Producer Karan Johar took to social media to present the two new member’s of Dharma Production, Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khattarr.

Directed and written by Shashank Khaitan the film titled, ‘Dhadak’ is a Hindi remake of path-breaking Marathi Film ‘Sairat’ released in 2016. Almost a year ago Karan Johar acquired the remake rights of Nagraj Manjule’s Marathi blockbuster Sairat.
This will not be the debut film for Ishaan Khattar, unlike Janhvi Kapoor. He has already been seen in two films and both featured his brother Shahid Kapoor – Waah Life Ho Toh Aisi and Udta Punjab. He has also done one international trilingual film called Beyond the Dreams directed by Academy Award winner Majid Majidi.
Reportedly, the film also stars Amitabh Bachchan
In association with Zee studios, the film is scheduled to release on 6th July 2018.
