Ekta Kapoor gearing up for her upcoming release Laila Majnu shared a special message form Filmmaker Imtiaz Ali on Tuesday morning.

The minute long video has Imtiaz talking about why he thinks audience should watch the romance drama ‘ Laila Majnu’. The title of the video is ‘Laila Majnu – Tales by Imtiaz Ali’, “Sometimes I wonder why would people watch this film, there are no big stars in the film. The actors are debutants who don’t belong to bif filmy families. Someone who thinks from their head and not heart i wonder how they would like this film.”
“If you are a little crazy, unique, have your own ideals, someone who wont listen to their parents and if you are crazy in love you should definitely watch this film. Because this film has characters like you. Both Laila and Majnu are like you.”
He also said, the story is based less on logic and more on passion. “I think the people who have made this film are also crazy themselves. I feel if you are passionate you will see yourself in this film.”
The film’s full length trailer will be released tomorrow.
‘Laila Majnu’, directed by Sajid Ali and presented by Imtiaz and Ekta Kapoor will release in August 2018.
