After popular and hit reality shows like Nach Baliye and Dance Plus 3, the leading channel Star Plus is coming up with another reality show which is an international concept, Lip Sing Battle. Filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan will be hosting the show along with Ali Asgar adding the special humor quotient.
New concept show will be full of fun and entertainment where top Bollywood celebrity guests will have a face off in a fun filled dance battle while lip-syncing on iconic Bollywood numbers.
Talking about the concept and its appeal, Farah Khan said, “I don’t know what kind of success I will find with the show, it can’t be judged right now but this has been the tradition of our country, Lip sync was invented here. I think in every film actors lip-sync. We wanted to make it more exciting and fun because normal lip sync we’ve been doing it for decades”
“I think an audience is going to like it as they will get to see the madness of their favorite stars, which they haven’t seen before.”
Popular comedian Ali will be co-hosting the show along with Farah Khan. The show was launched at the YRF studio and both Ali Asgar and Farah Khan seemed to have a crazy time.
Farah Khan further added that like her movies, the show will be packed with high entertainment quotient. She said, “Like my movies, this show we have tried to make it entertaining throughout, so that audience doesn’t get bored”
Recently Farah Khan shared a picture of Arjun Kapoor and Farhan Akhtar shooting for the show on social media. Now the filmmaker confirms that there Lip Sing Battle was fierce.
“I think Farhan Akhtar and Arjun Kapoor got very competitive. They started off on the friendly note but later both of them competitive” added Farah.
