Actor and Producer Farhan Akhtar unveil series of posters from forthcoming comic caper sequel, Fukrey Returns and confirm the release date of the film.
The first installment titled Fukrey which hit the screens in 2013 became a huge runaway hit at the Box Office as the youth found an instant connection with it. Directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba was the perfect buddy film and now the makers are ready with its sequel titled Fukrey Returns.
Farhan Akhtar unveiled the poster of all the popular and mad characters. He captioned it, “Going going gone…the fukras are back!! Crazier than before…#koishak. #FukreyReturns #Dec15”
In the poster we can see our most loved characters from the film, such as Pulkit Samrat as Hunny, Varun Sharma as Choocha, Ali Fazal as Zafar, Manjot Singh as Lali, Richa Chadda as Bholi Punjaban.
The second instalment is also Helmed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, Fukrey Returns brings back the original ensemble star cast of Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma, Manjot Singh, Ali Fazal, Richa Chadha and Priya Anand besides others playing pivotal parts.
The film was earlier slated for 8th December release but now it has been postponed and booked on 15th December nationwide release. The venture is produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani.
The teaser was released a little while ago, which is sitting pretty at 12 million and more hits on social media and video sharing portals.
