After ‘Rock on’ and ‘Luck By Chance’ Farhan Akhtar will be acting again in ‘Kartik Calling Kartik’ directed by Vijay Lalvani. Well, the name sounds a little weird but the director- -actor says the title was chosen to generate curiosity.
Farhan, who made a very successful singing and acting debut this year with ‘Rock On’ says, “Isn’t that an intriguing title? It’s supposed to generate curiosity. And to that extent it succeeds. I’m very excited about the film because I get to play the title role.”
Well, this year Farhan has done a whole lot of different things, from producing, singing, acting in films and so on. His stint as an anchor with ‘Oye It’s Friday’ on NDTV Imagine has been successful too!
She’s said, “This has been the year of experimentation and new experiences… acting, singing, hosting… I’ve had a good time doing all of it. I enjoyed the concept of ‘Oye It’s Friday’. All the people involved in the show are there for the right reason, to have fun. I knew it would be fun because I’d be hanging out with my friends from the industry. Besides, it was a good experience.”
After 12 episodes of ‘Oye It’s Friday’, he’ll get busy with the release of Zoya’s film followed by ‘Kartik Calling Kartik’.
But personal life remains a big priority as he plans to take a two-week holiday at the end of the year with his wife and two daughters.
He thinks he’s earned it all. Well, hats off to this multitalented guy.
