We have seen him on television quite frequently. But it is after a long time that yesteryear actor Farooque Sheikh will be seen on screen.
What impresses about the actor is that he continues to charm the crew with his thorough professionalism. A unit member said, “Farooque Sheikh was a great experience to work with. He was damn patient especially during that time when a special make up had to be put on his face. It would take hours but Sheikh would not complain even once. Farooque Shaikh has a different look in the film and therefore the heavy make-up.â€
Shaikh even did a risky scene, age notwithstanding. “There’s a scene that shows Farooque Shaikh trapped in a car. Shards of glass with their sharp edges are all around him. Any actor in his place would not have done as a little movement and the glass would pierce your skin leaving one bleeding. Farooque Shaikh did it. It has to be seen to be believed that he did it. It is the most amazing scene of Accident on Hill Road,†said the unit member.
