Director Jagannathan Puri (best known for directing the Telugu version of Wanted) will have Amitabh Bachchan playing the title role of Budda, the old man in his next film. This after Amitabh has just played the role of a child in Paa.

The creative producer of the film is rumored to be Ram Gopal Varma. Producer Madhu Mantena refused to confirm the news and stated that Puri came to Mumbai last month and met Amitabh, who liked the idea a lot and now Puri is scripting the film.
