A few days ago, the cast and the crew of Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya were shooting in Patiala and the schedule was very long. Initially they did relish the food that was served outdoors, but soon they including the soon-to-be married couple Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza longed to have ghar ka khaana (home-cooked food).
According to our source, “The food that was served to all of them was nice traditional Punjabi stuff. And everybody did enjoy them, but soon got bored of eating from out every day. Besides, the schedule was a long one. They wanted to have home-made simple food! When veteran actor Om Puri heard of this he was moved. And since he has a lot of
relatives in Patiala (he had spent most of his childhood days there), surprised all by calling for food from his house. All of them were very touched by this gesture of his.”
“Thanks to him, we didn’t feel like we were away from home as far food was concerned,” confirmed an official from Tips, the producers of the film.
