Govinda has been signed for a untitled film directed by Jagmohan Mundhra. Inspired from the Hollywood hit The 40 Year Old Virgin, the film will star Amrita Rao, Anupam Kher and Shakti Kapoor in important roles. Govinda plays a 40-year-old virginand the film is a comic caper. To be co-produced by Anuj Sharma and Sanddeep Kapur under the banner of Promodome and Sishty Creations, this will the Govinda’s solo hero film after a long time.
Amrita Rao plays a hot chic from UK who is the love interest of Govinda. The shoot of the film is already on the floor and the cast and crew has moved to London for it. The film will be shot in UK and in India on a 60-40 basis. The film’s music will be provided by Monty Sharma and Pony Verma will be doing the choreography. The film will be released later this year.
