Gulshan To Star Opposite Salma Hayek In ‘The Driver’

October 19, 2010 : Bollywood actor Gulshan Grover, who has been popular for his villain roles in Hindi movies, is going to star opposite Hollywood beauty Salma Hayek in a film titled The Driver. The Mexican hottie will be playing the role of his wife in this movie.

Bill Duke will be directing this movie and it will star some big names of Hollywood like Will Smith, Whoopie Goldberg, Janet Jackson and NBA star Kobe Bryant in guest appearances.

The director was quoted saying that he wanted an Indian actor with an ability to improvise for this role as the protagonist will be starring with a range of Hollywood stars.

Gulshan has just returned after signing the movie. The veteran actor was quoted saying that it will be a great pleasure to work with the Hollywood stars. The 55-year-old actor has earlier acted in some Hollywood movies like Nephilim and Prisoners of the Sun.

Gulshan has made his presence felt in Bollywood with movies like Yes Boss (1997), Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat (1996), Mohra (1994) etc. He debuted in the Hindi film industry by playing minor roles but later became a known ‘villain’ face in the industry.

Now, the actor is all set to work in his Hollywood project and prove his acting skills in the industry.
