Hema Malini who was present at the launch of her music album, Gopala Ko Samarpan on Sunday said, she is beginning her new journey.
“I am beginning a new journey with this release. I never thought I would come out with one album. But because of Narayan Agrawalji, I felt so inspired and encouraged. The songs he wrote are amazing and he got the music composed from an industry legend I had to say I will try my best. I couldn’t say no but I wasn’t sure if would be able to sing. I have sung as much as I could, it’s all because of the grace of Lord Krishna.” Said Hema Malini.
When asked if she has any special reason to work on the album she said, “All my singing credit goes to Ved Prakash because he was the one who made me do so many rehearsals. I have now started practicing music, I am interested in it. So in future if I get a chance or if something comes up, I would love to do it.”
The actress also spoke about the Album’s release and the music videos presented by Zee. She said, “This release happened at the best possible time, Janmashtami is here. The recording is going on since a year, even I have been busy with so many things, there is home, dance shows, and parliament also. I couldn’t give time as I had to rehears a lot. Also, the music videos look great I hope people will love them and if people love the videos that Zee music is releasing with us then we would love to release more for the other songs too.”
Ram Kamal Mukherjee is currently writing a book which as the actress informed will be released in October. He previously published a pictorial book based on Hema. When asked how different will this book be, Hema said, “It is very interesting. Two books are already published based on me, but his book is beyond Dream Girl.”
Hema Malini was last seen in 2017’s ‘Ek Thi Rani Aisi Bhi’ in the role of Vijaya Raje Scindia of Gwalior, with Vinod Khanna as her husband. The film was directed by Gul Bahar Singh. The film was released on 21 April 2017.
