Humanity can be very cruel says, Sunny Leone

Sunny says humanity can be very cruel at times and the fight for animal welfare and safety will continue on for a long time.

Sunny Leone on Sunday won the Digital Activism Award by ‘People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA)’ in Mumbai

While sharing her thoughts on the way animals are still treated, even after the widespread efforts for animal welfare and safety, Actress Sunny Leone said, “I think this is a fight that is going to continue for a long time. Human nature and Humanity can be very cruel. It is just horrible, thinking about it gives me goosebumps. I think it is a fight that will continue on the louder the voices are collectively that’s what will make a difference in their lives and safety.”

Talking about receiving the award Digital Activism Award by PETA, she said, “It feels really amazing to be recognized by PETA, I don’t necessarily think what I do or helping animals is something I deserve an award for. It is just something we should do as good human beings but I am very proud and happy that PETA has recognized that.”

On the work front Sunny was last seen in the 2017 release, ‘Tera Intezaar’ along Arbaaz Khan as the lead. The film was directed by Rajeev Walia.

When asked if she will be using social media to share her voice on the safety of animals. She said, “Social media can be very effective, everyone has a voice now. There are so many things happening in the world that it is absolutely imperative that everyone speaks up.”

Leone will be seen in and as Veeramadevi. It is a multi-lingual film, directed by V.C. Vadivudaiyan, it also stars Navdeep in a pivotal role.
