Talented and dashing multi-lingual actor R Madhavan is all geared up to explore “Digital space” with his upcoming suspense thriller series, Breathe, which was screened last night for film fraternity.
During his media interaction, Madhavan expressed that he is nervous about his upcoming venture. He said, “I am feeling very nervous now as the kind of buzz I am observing about ‘Breathe’ on social media and Amazon has gone crazy as they put up hoardings of the series everywhere in Mumbai, Banglore and Hyderbad so I think even my films also haven’t released on this scale”
Despite being a popular and successful actor Madhavan opted for web-series for the first time and shares his reasons for doing so, as it is future.
He said, “It’s the right thing to do because that is the future and that’s how it’s going to be. It’s convenient to another level”
‘Breathe’ will see Madhavan in the role of a father, who is willing to go to any length to save his child from dying.
Talking about challenges Madhavan faced while working in ‘Breathe’ he said, “In ‘Breathe’, my character has to make a moral choice of sticking to the law or doing what it takes to protect his son who is battling with life threatening disease so portraying that struggle onscreen was a challenge to me”
The web series has been written and directed by Mayank Sharma. The series also stars Amit Sadh, Hrishikesh Joshi, Sapna Pabbi, Atharva Vishwakarma and Neena Kulkarni in lead roles. ‘Breathe’ will be aired on 26th January.
