Actress Pooja Hegde walked the ramp at 5th season of India Kids Fashion Week On Saturday in Mumbai. While interacting with media Pooja stated that she is very happy that Prasoon Joshi is appointed as CBFC chief.
Recently, Writer and Lyricist Prasoon Joshi became chairperson of Central Board of Film Certification replacing Pehlaj Nihalani, when asked Pooja whether is she going to see any change in the working of CBFC after Joshi’s appointment as CBFC chief, She said, “We will see what changes are going to happen in the working of CBFC but personally, I respect Prasoon Joshi a lot so I am very happy that he is on board as new CBFC chief.”
When asked her whether appointment of credible actress like Vidya Balan is going to build image of CBFC, she said, “Absolutely.. I am very excited with the new lot who are appointed as Member of CBFC. I want to see what happens. I feel they also understand how films are made so I have hopes that they are going to do good job.”
Pooja was seen having lot of fun while walking the ramp and interacting with small kids at the event, when asked her about walking the ramp with kids, she said, “It was amazing experience. I feel we cannot match their energies. I think they are best set of models I have ever seen among all the fashion shows. Overall this fashion show was brilliant. I don’t know about viewers but I definitely enjoyed the show backstage”.
“I just love children in general. I think in lot of way they were encouraging me. In their age I used to hide under the bed somewhere. It’s great that they have this level of confidence and belief in themselves”.
Pooja Made her Hindi film debut along with Hrithik Roshan in Ashutosh Gowariker’s Mohenjo Daro in 2016 but it didn’t worked at box office.
Recently, she starred in Telugu action-comedy film Duvvada Jagannadham or DJ opposite Allu Arjun which did well at the box-office.
