Team of ‘Fukrey Returns’ including Pulkit Samrat, Ali Fazal, Richa Chadha, Varun Sharma and Manjot Singh spotted together at multiple food joints promoting their upcoming film ‘Fukrey Returns’ on Tuesday in Mumbai. During media, interaction, Pulkit hoped that their film will have good run as their film is coming on its original release date.
‘Fukrey Returns’ was earlier scheduled to release on 8th December and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’ was earlier schedule to release on 17th November but team of ‘Padmavati’ postponed it their release date to 1st December, so to avoid box-office clash with big film like ‘Padmavati’ , makers of ‘Fukrey Return’ also postponed their release date 15 th December but now Various political and religious outfits are opposing the release of ‘Padmavati’ so eventually , makers of ‘Padmavati’ voluntarily decided to postpone their film so it now it again opened window for makers of ‘Fukrey Ruturns’ to release their film on their original release date, so when asked about this whole rescheduling of film’s release date , ‘Fukrey Returns’ lead actor Pulkit said, “ I am not excel (Excel entertainment) and we are not allowed to talk about these things if we talk about these things then tomorrow, we will sitting across each other with Ritesh Sidhwani. Having said that, our original release date was always 8th December so now we are coming in theatres on our original date which is nice so we will hopefully get good run”
When asked Richa about the film, she said, ‘We have made a good film and we are really proud of it so that’s why wholeheartedly we are promoting this film together everywhere. This film is surely going to entertain the audience and we are hoping that this film does well.”
Talking about her favorite eating joints while shooting the film, Richa said, “We used to eat a lot in Khan Market, Jan Path, Sarojini Nagar and M Block because our film is primarily based in Delhi”
When asked what kind of fun they are going to have in the night out, Varun Sharma said, “We are going to eat lot and chat a lot. When you hang out with friends then there is no better combination than eating and gossiping together”
“We eat a lot at these food joints while going to home when we are hungry so we often visit to these food joints. I am always like to eat street food. I am a Punjabi so when a Punjabi gets food then automatically it brings smile on his face”
‘Fukrey Retuns’ is Indian buddy comedy film which is sequel to ‘Fukrey’ which released in 2013.
‘Fukrey Returns’ is directed by Mrighdeep Lamba and produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s Excel Entertainment.
It is finally releasing on 8th December, 2017.
