Model Shibani Dhandekar says that Farhan Akhtar is lucky enough to use his reach for good causes.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Farhan Akhtar, Gaurav Kapoor, and Shibani Dhandekar were spotted at the Lalkaar concert in Mumbai. The concert, held at Bandra Fort Amphitheatre, was led by the Population Foundation of India (PFI), Farhan’s MARD (Men Against Rape and Discrimination) and director Feroz Abbas Khan.
Talking about multi-talented Farhan Akhtar pushing for causes, Shibani said, “He is lucky enough to use the kind of platform he has, so such a good cause. And I think that’s what is great! He is a singer, actor, producer, writer, director, and many things, but he is also using the reach he has with the audience in this nation to create awareness this particular initiative is trying to reach”
“I think it is very admirable, I think he takes on this responsibility very seriously and I think it comes from a very genuine place. He is trying to spread the awareness and this issue is so important” she added.
Talking about the cause, she added, “I think it is supremely important, especially to raise awareness at a time like this where it is so needed. I think education for young girls is important and creating awareness about it is so needed. Issues like Girls education, safety for women and more, all these things are so important. And a cause like this, I am happy to be a part of this”
Interestingly Shibani and Farhan are rumored to be dating and buzz is to be believed, the duo has exchanged rings and will soon make an official announcement.
