Actor Sudhanshu Pandey attended special screening of Bengali film ‘Mayurakshi’ on Thursday in Mumbai. During media interaction, Sudhanshu said that he would love to act in Bengali films.

When asked Sudhansh whether he wants to act in Bengali films, he said, “I would love to work in Bengali films because I feel today language for an actor is no bar at all. I did Tamil film. I have played villain in 2.O with Rajanikanth. I think if you connect with the subject and character, it could be any character it becomes learning process for every actor so I would love to do Bengali film because I feel they genuinely do give you a lot to learn from as an actor”

Sudhanshu Pandey plays key character in Shankar’s upcoming film ‘2.O’ which stars Rajanikanth and Akshay Kumar, talking about working experience with Shankar in ‘2.O’ Sudhanshu said, “Shankar sir has taken longer to probably devise the character which I am playing in that film. It a role of villain but to sort of design that look he has took lot of time because he is very particular about it. When you make film of 400 crores then you bound to spend lot of time in every single detail so he took a lot of time to design and device everything for my character as well. For me, it took some time to understand the mindset. I play scientist in that film. It’s not easy to get into scientist mode but that scientist is slightly emotionally driven so as an actor it was easy for me to get into that”

Talking about Bengali film ‘Mayurakshi’, Sudhanshu said, “I am looking forward to some fantastic content. I am an actor but I really hungry to explore good content and incidentally, Bengali films have always been way ahead in terms of content they provided to the Indian cinema right from the beginning. The numbers of National awards and filmmakers like Satyajit Ray, Mrunal Sen these kind of filmmakers have come from this background. I am really hoping that I get see some good stuff because I am constantly looking for good content and mostly you end up watching at home but I feel it is welcome change that we are watching Bengali film in theatre in Mumbai. I think this film revolves around father-son relationship which is very interesting”

Mauli Ganguly, Madhu Chopra, Sharbani Mukherjee, Prosenjit Chatterjee, Ishita Dutta also attended special screening of ‘Mayurakshi’.
