Milind Ukey (8).JPG1. Why Dheradhun Diary?
Its hard hitting subject about a real life murder case. The whole story around this murder reflects strongly on our social realities . Its about corruption in politics , security & judiciary systems and how a common man is affected by it. Deraadhun Diary is a need of this times . It’s a reaction to the horrible & inhuman incidents like what happened in Delhi rape case. Dehraadun diary depicts people’s uprising against corruption at all levels.

2. Why Dheradhun as Location ?
Film is based on real life muder case , which happened few years back in UP. Dheradhun was part of UP that time. Hence it is placed in Dheradhun so that we can understand the kind complexities of northern politics.

3. Why “Ab to System ki bhi bajegi “ ?
Though apparently we are living in the biggest democracy of the world, we are suffering from old feudal, aristocratic and dictator system of power and politics. And this becomes even more evident when murder cases like Jessica Lal, Priyadarshani, Arushi, happens and the murderers roam around free because they are influential. They use their power to manipulate every system to their advantage.

In Dehraadun Diary I trace the journey of murder victim’s family to get the justice. And the journey is incredibly difficult and full of horror. The myth of Democracy breaks here and we see the ugly face of our traditional society. Its not about particular person or particular community, but its about our inborn attitude to run down others just based on his caste, religion or economical difference…attitude of false superiority by birth…so when weak person becomes powerful …he does the same and he crushes others by the same rule set by the earlier sick traditions…then who is to blame…how will this whole thing would change… Or else the rapes in running bus will keep on happening…murders in broad daylight will be the order of the day… Dehraadun Diary gives you a platform to share this urgent call on the crime, violence and political corruption related to such crimes… I hope I will be able to touch the innermost fears of people and bring them face to face with it…so that we could find answers to mindless violence and its mentors…

4. Tell about Casting ?
The IAS officer’s son who is murdered is played by Rohit Bakshi , a handsome & brilliant actor from TV.
Rajini, lead of “Mrs Kaushik ki 5 Bhauye “ , plays the daughter of politician for who murder is committed . She is outstanding performer.
Adhyayan Suman plays a role of brother of victim who fights for the justice. People will discover the brilliant actor & superb screen persona in Adhyayan in this film.

Rati Agnihotri plays mother brilliantly .
Main Villain played by bad boy Vishal Bhosale is an absolute discovery . Every actor is perfectly fit for each character . Hence Dheradhun Diary looks a very real film.

5. How it is being marketed ?
Our Presenter Dr. Arun Sharma and Producers Anita and Yatin Nandwani are doing a great job in releasing the film . They have spent more than 5 Crores on publicity , marketing & distribution . They have out shadowed all other films releasing on the same date. Dehraadun Diary is visible everywhere. So it has to do good on box-office.

6. What are your next project ?
I am promoting the ground sports as against video games by making
“ Rannveer , The Marshall” a film based on various kinds of martial arts. This will be a first Indian film which is completely based on martial arts. Another film I am planning is based on India- Pakistan relationship & the world peace and universal brotherhood. It is called “ Yeh Movie Pakistan mein ban hai”.
