Actor Irrfan Khan credits the success of “Hindi Medium” and “Qarib Qarib Singlle” to demanding nature of the audience, said the audience is showing signs of hunger for new content.
“Audience is getting more demanding and needs more content, and now they have started showing signs,” said Irrfan Khan on the sidelines of Stars Screen Awards answering about the success of content-driven Hindi Medium and QQS.
Irrfan Khan also expressed her happiness that people are treating him in “popular” actor category and he sees credibility in Stars Screen Awards.
“Stars Screen Award has been acknowledging me in the right context and I think it is important sometimes for an award to be credible. I like coming here because I see that credibility here and I am really happy that people see me as a popular actor” added Irrfan Khan.
Irrfan Khan also added that he doesn’t see life in terms of “successful” year or anything when it comes to working.
“I can’t count years like that, I can’t even divide them that way, and I don’t look at life from that point of view. Life is going on, it is a flow. Some changes are coming; our film industry is in phase transition and we hope for the best” added Irrfan.
On the work front, Irrfan delivered a hit this year with his Hindi Medium. The powerhouse actor will next be seen in BLACK??? directed by Abhinay Deo. It is all set to release on March 30. Kirti Kulhari also features in the movie opposite Irrfan.
Actress Kirti Kulhari confirmed the movie on her social media account. She wrote, “My next film, a quirky comedy titled #Black??? directed by Abhinay Deo & starring some wonderful actors- @irrfank, @arunodaysingh7, @divyadutta25 , Omi Vaidya and others, produced by T-Series and RDP Motion Pictures, to be released on 30th March, 2018”
The movie is slated for 30th November 2018 release.
