Irrfan Khan is all set to collaborate with Piku co-star Deepika Padukone for Vishal Bhardwaj’s next, says he is excited and looking forward to the film.

The film which is an adaptation of S Hussain Zaidi’s book Mafia Queens of Mumbai. The book is based on the life and times of Ashraf Khan who is popularly known as Sapna Didi.
“Vishal Bhardwaj will send the final version of the script soon. Our dates are fixed, shooting dates are fixed, and I am really looking forward to the film. It is an entertaining film. There is a little dark area in the film which most of the Vishal’s film have, but an exciting film. Deepika’s role is just amazing” said Irrfan Khan about working with Deepika Padukone during his recent media interaction for QQS promotion.

In upcoming Qarib Qarib Singlle, Irrfan Khan is paired with Malayalam actor Parvathy, who is debuting in the Hindi film industry with the Tanuja Chandra directorial.
Talking about her debutante co-star, Irrfan Khan admitted that Malayalam actress Parvathy gave her complex. He said, “She is a veteran actress, she has a huge fan following and I even had a little complex that whether I’ll be visible in film or not. She is wonderful actress”

Irrfan Khan further drew parallel with Piku and Qarib Qarib Singlle, stating that the story of the film is not as important as the characters.
“This film is about the chemistry of the characters, there is not much up-down in the storyline, this is not a plot-oriented film. It is a movie about characters. Just like Piku, the story of the film wasn’t important, I mean it was a story about a family going from Delhi to Kolkata, the same journey is there in QQS, here character is important, their relationship is important and once the audience is hooked to the characters, then they want to see what they can do” said Irrfan Khan.
