Jackky Bhagnani, who is currently gearing up for his upcoming short film ‘Carbon’ also celebrated Rakhi in an Eco-friendly way.
“We all have a social responsibility, Global warming isn’t a problem only for a city or a Country it’s a problem for our world our planet entirely. When my sister introduced this to me I was very happy to hear about people near Akola and Nanded making Rakhis like these. Killing three birds with one stone, firstly they are doing something for Global warming, secondly, they are promoting Indian Cotton and third these women are being employed. “said Jackky
The Rakhi is made from threads of Indian Cotton and had a seed woven into it which can be planted when one removed the Rakhi.
He further added, “I thought it was a great initiative and I wanted to support them. They have been working sic past three years, but they didn’t get a platform yet. If someone gets to that much-needed platform through me, and for something that will help everyone even the planet then why not.”
When Deepshikha Deshmukh said all credit of making Carbon goes to Jackky he said, “I have worked as an assistant since, I was 15. I have worked as an assistant director, assistance producer. I used to help during Post production in other films. Now the company that I am creating my sister, there also I want everyone to have an equal say, then and only then we will be able to get a good result. Everyone has worked hard for Carbon.”
The film ‘Carbon’ is set in the year 2067, in future. Jackky will play the role of a man with an artificial heart. The short film will also shed light on environmental issues. The star cast includes Nawazuddin Siddiqui as a man from Mars, Prachi Desai, and Yashpal Sharma.
