Actress Jacqueline Fernandez celebrated Christmas with underprivileged children organized by RPG Fondation under their ‘Pehle Akshar’ initiative on Monday in Mumbai. During media interaction, Jacqueline stated that she is very excited for revamped version of Race franchise and action in the film.
Talking about shooting schedule of her upcoming film Race 3, Jacqueline said, “It was amazing. Yesterday, entire team of Race 3 was there. We were just celebrating Anil (Kapoor) sir’s first day on ‘Race 3’. We were also celebrating Salman’s (Khan) big hit ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ and obviously Salman’s birthday is also coming up so, ‘Race 3’ team is like one big family. We are really having fantastic time together. I think Ramesh Taurani is just an amazing producer so yeah, we are very excited for the new revamped ‘Race 3’ and we are very excited for doing lot of action”
Deepika Padukone was part of ‘Race 2’ so when asked whether she is up for comparison with Deepika with her upcoming film ‘Race 3’ which is part of same franchise, Jacqueline said, “I don’t really see the comparison but I just know that I concentrate on my work and I don’t think you can take those comparison too seriously because you are in your own and each one brings her/his individuality when it comes to play a certain character”
Talking about her last release ‘Judwaa 2’ which did really well at box-office, Jacqueline said, “It was really amazing. I think ‘Judwaa 2’ has given me best memories of my life and I have got to work such fantastic people of course, working with Nadiad sir (Sajid Nadiadwala) again, we had six hit in a row together and then working with David (Dhawan) sir. I learnt so much about comedy and many other things and of course Varun (Dhawan) and the fact that films did so well so it has been best Christmas gift for me”
Talking about celebrating Christmas with children, Jacqueline said, “This one of the rarest occasion where I am not celebrating Christmas with my family so I thought I will celebrate this year’s Christmas with these children because they are happy and innocent souls. Today I was here for RPG Foundation. They have this amazing programme called ‘Pehle Akshar’. It’s fantastic programme that really educates children. I feel more than anything giving back to society is very important”
Talking about New Year resolution’s Jacqueline said, “I will not make any New Year’s resolution because each year I break the resolutions after making it so I am not going to make resolution. I just think that what’s really important is every year you should make sure that you just become a better human being and that should be the resolution for everyone”
Talking about her another upcoming film ‘Drive’, Jacqueline said, “Drive is releasing soon. We are working very hard on the finishing of the film and the dubbing and last minute portions but we are done with the film so it should be releasing very soon”
Apart from Jacqueline Fernandez ‘Race 3’ also stars Salman Khan, Bobby Deol, Daisy Shah, Saqib Saleem and Anil Kapoor in lead roles. ‘Race 3’ is being directed by Remo D’Souza and it will have 2018 Eid release.
