Veteran actor Johnny Lever to return to small screen after ten years with upcoming comedy show Partners says he is not nervous about the show but excited.
“I am excited, I am a little nervous but not too much. The show is made beautifully; people are going to enjoy it. I am playing a double role, one is (khabri) informer, who dons different avatars and getup, and he is quite funny” said Johnny Lever on the sidelines of Partners Show Red Carpet event last night here in Mumbai.
Johnny Lever is all set to entertain audiences and tickle their funny bone with the upcoming comedy show Partners —Trouble Ho Gayi Double, on SAB TV. Johnny Lever will be seen in a double role — playing a police commissioner and his twin who happens to be a ‘khabri’ (informer).
The show also stars Kiku Sharda, Asrani, Vipul Roy, Kishwer M Rai, Shweta Gulati and Ashwini Kalsekar.
Talking about the plot of the show, Johnny added, “This Kiku and Vipul, these two don’t get along in the show. I am playing commissioner and these two are my special officers, so these two causes me tension, they don’t work and causes all sorts of trouble, and I have to handle their mess”
The cop based comedy daily will have Johnny playing a police commissioner and also his own tapori informer.
