Kadvi Hawa is creatively more satisfying because it gives you responsibility to carry a film on your shoulder says Sanjay Mishra

Actor Sanjay Mishra attended trailer launch of his upcoming film ‘Kadvi Hawa‘ along with Producer Manish Mudra, Drishyam Films on Monday in Mumbai. While interacting with media, Sanjay Mishra stated that being part of Kadwi Hawa is creatively more satisfying because it gives you responsibility to carry a film on your shoulder.

Talking about being part critically acclaimed films, Sanjay Mishra said, “I have been associated with critically acclaimed films and most of them has been produced by Drishyam Films be it ‘Ankhon Dekhi’, ‘Masaan’,’ Newton’ and now ‘Kadvi Hawa’. When you are acting and do different kind of films like ‘Golmaal Again’ or a serious film like ‘Kadvi Hawa’ so it’s nice feeling to have as an actor”

When asked how does it feel to do film like ‘Kadvi Hawa’, Sanjay said, “It’s like having ten wives to a man. No jokes apart, it is treat for an actor to portray different characters. In last 4 months, I have been part of ‘Newton’, ‘Baadshaho’, ‘Golmaal Again’ and now ‘Kadvi Hawa’. All these films were of different genre and obviously doing film like ‘Kadvi Hawa’ is creatively more satisfying because it gives you responsibility to carry a film on your shoulder and when your director has certain kind of vision the film then, as an actor you begin, middle and end the film but at the same portraying such characters are painful”

When asked Sanjay what kind of films, he wants to do in future, Sanjay said, “I am not kind of actor who plans his career. I take whatever comes my way. I don’t have any specific hopes when it comes to roles. Now, people don’t have hopes with their kids then how can I hope to get certain kind of roles.”

“I just want to do meaningful and challenging roles. Manish is doing fantastic job as producer in Hindi cinema. He is creating different kind of cinema and people are also accepting that kind of films so I feel it’s a good sign for film industry when an actor like me who has been earlier type casted in comic roles are able to do different kind of films”

Talking about Kadvi Hawa and Sanjay Mishra’s role, Manish Mundra said, “Sanjay is playing 70 year old blind farmer who is debt ridden. I think it’s one his best performance till date. This film portrays the reality and dramatization of actuality which show impact of climate change and weather denudation and the role played by Sanjay Misha of a farmer is most impacted because of that situation because he is the lowest chain of that cycle.”

“He has played that role beautifully and carried this film on his shoulder along with Ranvir Shorey. This film has value in terms of education and entertainment because there is great drama build into it”

‘Kadvi Hawa’ stars Sanjay Mishra, Ranvir Shorey and Tillotama Shome in lead roles.

‘Kadvi Hawa’ is being produced by Drishyam films and directed by Nila Madhab Panda . It is slated to release on 24 November, 2017.
