Good News for Kapil Sharma’s fans as his most loved and watched comedy show “The Kapil Sharma Show” is returning to the air, unfortunately, it is not coming back on Diwali but later at the end of the year.
Kapil Sharma was all set to make a comeback this Diwali with the new season of The Kapil Sharma Show but the show has been pushed towards the end of the year.
According to reports, the makers do not want to start the show in a hurry. There’s a lot of pending work regarding the cast and the format and it’s not possible to go on floors so soon but the show is coming back.
Kapil Sharma confirmed his comeback on Twitter, he had posted, “Jalad wapas aa raha hoon ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ lekar aap ke liye sirf @SonyTV par.”
The channel had also issued an official statement that read, “Yes, Kapil Sharma is coming home to Sony Entertainment Television with his highly successful weekend comedy show ‘The Kapil Sharma show’. We are delighted and looking forward to again collaborate with Kapil and his absolutely talented creative team and actors.”
But in the meantime, Kapil dropped the news that he is getting married to his longtime girlfriend Ginni Chatrath. The actor-comedian will tie the knot on December 12 in Jalandhar followed by a reception on December 14.
So the Kapil Sharma show will only kick-start after his wedding.
The Kapil Sharma Show will be making a comeback after more than a year. In 2017, the show had to be wrapped up after Kapil had a fallout with his co-stars Sunil Grover and Ali Asgar.
