It has a lot of hopes and dreams and aspirations and I think people will leave the theater feeling very happy so it is a must watch.” said Diana at the Gaj Yatra Campaign by Wildlife Trust of India on Sunday.
Diana also spoke about the film’s release; she said “I am always excited for a film release. It is a good feeling. I actually have two coming up this year so I am really excited and I am looking forward to it. The most exciting is to see the how the audience reacts and if they enjoy the film or not. So I am waiting to see what happens.”
Union Environment, Forest, and Climate Change Minister, Dr. Harsh Vardhan, launched ‘Gaj Yatra’, a nationwide campaign to protect elephants on the occasion of World Elephant Day. The campaign is planned to cover 12 elephant range states.
The actress also spoke in support of the campaign she said, “In our enthusiasm and greed to progress we tend to forget how important the forests are. It is a great initiative by Wildlife Trust of India and Dia Mirza. We are taking away their habitat of our wildlife which is not fair because then what happens to them and nobody really thinks about that. We really need to pledge today to go out there and protect our wildlife and make sure that man and nature can coexist with each other. I am here today to join the herd and help pledge and protect the elephants.”
She further adds, “I have always felt really strongly for the environment and environmental issues, for wildlife and I always wanted to do whatever I can and whatever way possible to help. And today I got the opportunity to help make a difference. Hopefully, people will spread the message and realize the importance of our wildlife.”
Diana was last seen in ‘Happy Bhag Jayegi’, directed by Mudassar Aziz in 2016 and will be seen in her upcoming film ‘Lucknow Central’ with Farhan Akhtar.
She is currently filming ‘Paramanu’ directed by Abhishek Sharma with John Abraham.
