Recently, Bigg Boss season 5 had a new way of getting a wild card entry, wherein 3 of the popular evicted contestants were put in comptetion with each other and were voted by the audience. As per the voting system, the evicted contestant who got the highest votes from audiences would return to the Bigg Boss house and get another chance at winning coveted prize money.
The voting period which was for 2 days saw fans of evicted contestants – Laxmi & Shonali put in their best to get as many votes as possible for their celebrity to get back in, but in the end it is Mahek Chahal who has won the contest with a huge margin of votes. According to sources from the team, “the fans for all 3 have been sending in huge amounts of votes, but Mahek Chahal’s fans outdid all of them. Since Mahek was evicted, her number of fans have increased even more and her popularity on the Bigg Boss site is also on the top from all the contestants with the highest number of likes.” Well at least this will stop the wagging of some of the tongues who have been going out making claims of Mahek’s support from Mr. Khan and will show them that it is her popularity and the love of fans who want her back.
