“Mallika Sherawat was unprofessional”: Sachin J Joshi

Recently at the First Look launch of upcoming film ‘Mumbai Mirror‘, Actor and Producer Sachiin J Joshi lashes out in front of the media about the unprofessional behavior of Diva Mallika Sherawat towards him and his film.

Sachiin clarified that he approached Mallika Sherawat with the script and she agreed to do the film. But she later after receiving the advance money, The actress never responded his calls and he was forced to approach the Producer’s council. “I used to share a very good rapport with Mallika Sherawat. She wanted to do a film with me after my debut film ‘Aazan‘. When I approached her with the script, She immediately agreed. But she never wanted to play Bar Dancer’s character I guess. She never responded my calls, Even after taking the advance money. In my case, Mallika Sherawat was unprofessional” said Sachiin J Joshi.

Sachiin Joshi and the director Ankush Bhatt decided to cast a new actress Vivianain the film. On casting the new face, Ankush said “I am very happy and destined about Mallika not doing the film. She wanted some changes in the character I guess, But she should know that people cast her for her ‘Image’. My character required that Image.”

Mumbai Mirror is a Cop Thriller which also has Aditya Pancholi, Prakash Raj, Mahesh Manjerekar, Prashant Narayanan in major roles. The film is written by Ghalib Asad Bhopali who earlier wrote ‘Bhindi Bazaar Inc.’ which was again directed by Ankush Bhatt.
