Ayan Mukerji helmed Brahmastra just got super special and bigger in terms of the ensemble. The movie already features Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan in the lead roles and now superstar Nagarjuna join the fantasy drama band-wagon!
The maker of the film Dharma Productions just issued a statement confirming Nagarjuna in a pivotal role.
The official Dharma Productions shared a picture of Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Ayan Mukerji and Nagarjuna on social media. They captioned it, “The #Brahm?stra team is now bigger & grander! Confirming the same, south Indian superstar Nagarjuna also wrote, “Thank you @karanjohar, @SrBachchan Ji, Ranbir,@aliaa08, Ayan and the dream Team of @DharmaMovies for making me feel so special and welcome. Loving every minute here in Devin, Bulgaria!!”
The entire team is shooting in Devin, Bulgaria. The film is a trilogy, which means it will be made in three parts. It is a superhero fantasy drama around a guy, who possesses superpowers.
Initially, the film’s title was rumored to be Dragon but was later changed to Brahmastra. Director Ayan Mukerji explained that the title ‘Brahmastra’ “resonates with the “ancient wisdom, energies and power,”.
Mukerji also revealed that it is a “contemporary film with ancient elements.”
