Crowned as Miss Punjaban this pretty lady is making it big in Punjabi films. Neetu Singh who walked the ramp and won the title of Miss Punjaban always wanted to go for acting, a passion she is dedicated towards. And taking a look at her career it sure seems bright ahead. Neetu shot to fame with Harbhajan Maan’s famous number ‘Call Jalandhar Ton’ and debuted in ‘Dil Tainu Karda Ae Pyar’. She will soon be seen in Saadi Love Story a Punjabi film releasing on 11th January.

It is directed by Dheeraj Rattan and is a romcom. The film revolves around a girl who is a diehard romantic waiting for her Prince charming. The comedy ensues when not one but two guys with same name come claiming to be her prince charming. Who will be her Mr. Right forms the essence of the film.”

The film is freshness in the pool of romcoms but what is it that will make the audience watch the film? To which she says, “There is not just drama and romance but also comedy. As an audience you would always want to go for a paise vasool film and Saadi Love story is that!”
Highlighting her character in the film she says, “The character that I portray plays a crucial role to take the story forward. It adds more drama, more comedy and lots of romance. The character is bubbly and lively.”

Sharing her experience of having worked with her co-stars and the director of the film, Neetu says, “The film stars Diljit Dosanjh, Surveen Chawla, Amrinder Gill and me. We all had a great time on the sets. And Dheeraj, the director of the film was not only supportive but has done a real good job with his debut film.”

Was there any ego problem between you and Surveen? To which she says, “No! Never! In fact I and Surveen had gelled up very well. We never had any ego problems at all.”
