The actor-model Sameer makes his debut in television with the show Main Teri Parchai Hu. He agrees that the small screen has proved a strong medium in today’s age. Working with Rajshri was something which he could not deny and the role of Sachin Tyagi is a very strong role. Sameer opines that shifting from modeling in advertisements to acting is a naturally tendency. He has done numerous advertisements and as his face was known on TV, it was easy for him to relate to the audience. He further states that TV actors are as famous as Bollywood stars these days. He plays a newsreader in his upcoming film Mohan Das – A Man Lost in his Own Nation. He plays the boyfriend of Sonali Kulkarni. Sushant Singh is also working in this film. After being a corrupt politician in Satta, a dedicated pilot in Agnipankh, he is excited to become a newsreader.
Sameer is a family man and states that his family is the source of inspiration for him. He loves to spend his spare time with his family.
