Actress Mahek Chahal visited Gitanjali jewellery store for the promotion of his upcoming movie ‘Nirdosh’ on Monday in Mumbai. During media interaction, Mehak Chahal said that Nirdosh has lots of twists and turns in it.
Talking about her upcoming film, ‘Nirdosh’, Mahek said, “We don’t make more movies in suspense thriller genre. Recently, one movie released named ‘Ittefaq’ so our film ‘Nirdosh’ also revolves around murder mystery. Arbaaz Khan is playing the cop in the movie is trying to solve that case but in this film there are lot of twists. While watching the film, in each scene, audience will feel that each character of the film could have committed the crime so there are lots of layers, twist and turns in the film.”
Talking about her character Mahek said, “I am playing character of Ada in this film. Ashmit Patel and Manjiri Fadnis are married couple in the film but Ashmit’s character involved in extra-marital affair with my character but apart from that, I can’t reveal much because at the end it’s a murder mystery.”
Talking about working with Arbaaz Khan in ‘Nirdosh’ Mahek said, “Arbaaz Khan is really funny. He looks very intense from his looks but he is very mischievous. He has great sense of humor. We used to do lots of masti on the sets of the film. Now, we are busy promoting our movie but during interviews also we make lot of fun”
Talking about ‘Nirdosh’s box-office clash with ‘Kaalakaandi’, Mahek said, “Each time you can’t think that your movie will have single release on Friday because now because increased number of films, there are 2-3 movies releasing each week on a same date but I want to say that our film’s genre is completely different from other’s film genre so I feel now audience have more option. They can watch either massy movies or love stories or suspense movies. Each film has its own space but I am confident about our movie and I feel it will do well at box-office and I feel whoever wants to watch our movie will go to our watch movie.
Talking about her fondness to jewellery, Mahek said, “Every girl likes jewellery. We just need an opportunity to but jewellery but jokes apart, Gitanjali jewelley is such a trusted name in this industry. It’s like a brand whenever you go any store it’s a big thing for a woman to buy a jewellary from Gitanjali so I am really happy that today they invited me to visit their store”
Apart from Arbaaz, ‘Nirdosh’ also has a collage of other actors in the film like Manjiri Fadnnis, Ashmit Patel, Maheck Chahal and Mukul Dev.
Nirdosh is directed by Subroto Paul and Pradeep Rangwani. The film is produced by UV films and is slated to release on 12 January, 2018.
