Pooja Bhatt just confirmed that Sanjay Dutt and filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt are reuniting for the sequel of super hit Sadak 2.
Sadak paired Sanjay Dutt and Pooja Bhatt in Mahesh Bhatt directorial musical drama film, which rocked the box-office with its music and storyline. The movie was released in 1991 and became the seventh highest grossing Hindi film of the 90s decade with a groundbreaking musical score.
The film is also fondly remembered for the late Sadashiv Amrapurkar’s award-winning performance as the film’s villain Maharani. This film was remade in Tamil as Appu (2000) and now its sequel is in making.
Pooja Bhatt shared a picture of Sanjay Dutt and Mahesh Bhatt on social media. On the work front, Sanjay Dutt is currently busy wrapping “Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster 3” which is an upcoming drama film. It is the third installment in Tigmanshu Dhulia’s series of films started by Rahul Mittra Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster 2011.
The movie also stars Jimmy Shergill, Mahi Gill and Chitrangada Singh in key roles.
