Bringing the humor and some cheeky mischief, the first official trailer for ‘Dream Girl 2’ has been released, marking the maiden collaboration of stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday.
The trailer was shared on social media by the official account of Balaji Motion Pictures, run by media mogul Ekta Kapoor.
The post read, “Step into the world of the Dream Girl and prepare yourself for a hilarious story featuring your dream queen! #DreamGirl2Trailer Out Now! Mark your calendars for the 25th of August, it’s going to be a riot. #DreamGirl2 hits the big screen on 25th August. The film tells the story of Ayushmann Khurrana’s character, Karam, a young man from the small town of Mathura.
Karam finds himself struggling daily to repay his father’s overwhelming debt, money borrowed from nearly every conceivable source. Despite his financial woes, Karam is deeply in love with Pari, played by Ananya Panday.

However, Pari’s father imposes stringent conditions for their marriage. To meet both ends, Karam takes on the persona of ‘Pooja,’ leading to a chain of chaotic events and a comedy of errors that form the crux of the narrative.
‘Dream Girl 2’ offers a barrel of laughs and a whole lot of entertainment, further enriched by a stellar ensemble cast.
The film features notable names such as Annu Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Vijay Raaz, Rajpal Yadav, Asrani Saab, Manoj Joshi, Abhishek Banerjee, Seema Pahwa, Manjot Singh, and Ranjan Raj, among others, promising a multitude of unforgettable performances.
