The most prestigious award National Award ceremony was recently held and Priyanka Chopra has won the prestigious National Award 2008 for her stupendous performance in Madhur Bhandarkars’ Fashion. The award function witnessed filmmakers from all the corners of the country.

According to reliable sources, “Apart from Priyanka, Upendra Limaya bagged the best actor award for a Marathi film Jogwa. Arjun Rampal‘s superb performance gained him a National award for best supporting actor in Rock On and intense actress Kangana Ranaut got National award for Fashion in the same category. Neeraj Pandey’s fabulous work in A Wednesday bagged him the best film as a debutant director award. Hilarious Oye Lucky Lucky Oye received award for the entertainment value and Kannada movie Gubachi Ganu gained best children’s film award. Yash Raj Film’s animated film Roadside Romeo bagged best animated film. National award for Best Hindi film went to Rock On.
So, its celebration time in tinsel town with national awards being felicitated and talent being honoured.
