Quick Gun Murugan is yet to release, but Fox Star has announced the sequel to the movie. Vijay Singh, CEO of Fox Star tells us, “Even before the release of Quick Gun Murugan, the kind of response it is generating has left us amazed. That is the reason why we have now planned a sequel to the film, which is tentatively titled The Good, The Bad And The Idli. Basically we want to do films, which are different and have great entertainment value. We want to create a whole new lingo for the youth.â€
Singh further adds, “We have plans to make 6 films a year, which will be great on content. There will be two big budget and the others will be mediocre films. Quick Gun Murugan was earlier conceived for a television serial but then we decided to make a film. This will be the first time in Indian film industry where a film is being based on a television concept. The character has an iconic status and will be the first complete Indian superhero. He is dressed in outrageous colors. Even the music of the film has a story behind every track.â€
Quick Gun Murugan stars Telugu star Rajendra Prasad in the title role along with Rambha playing Mango Dolly. It is based on the famous character once shown on Channel V with his favorite line being -Mind It!
