A film on the journey of Gandhian values and principles titled Road to Sangam claims to Paresh Rawal’s best performance till date. Thus, the film directed by Amit Rai has become much-awaited films among the fans who vouch for sensible cinema.
Interestingly, apart from gigantic star power like Paresh Rawal, Om Puri and Pawan Malhotra; Rai has roped in locals of Allahabad playing themselves in the film. Sources close to the film reveal, “Rai took this decision to give realistic feel to the film. These locals though play themselves, but Rai has added some dimensions to their roles and thus they do become character-oriented ones.â€
Road to Sangam has Tushar Gandhi in a special appearance and is slated to release on September 19.
