Superstar Rajinikanth once again proves that he is the undisputed king of massive fan following. The actor is back with another amazing flick, Kaala, the first teaser of the film is out and it is been trending for 3 days now.
The film is directed by Pa. Ranjith, starring megastar Rajinikanth in the lead and Nana Patekar in a key role, along with Huma Qureshi, Anjali Patil, Eswari Rao and Pankaj Tripathi.
Actor and producer Dhanush dropped the teaser on social media. He captioned it, “Here you go!! Kaala teaser.…thalaivar teaser eppo release aanaalum eppidi release aanaalum diwali dhaan. Mass dhaan”
This one has Rajinikanth in his most dashing and swag black avatar, sporting a black dhoti and kurta along with a pair of sunglasses. Kaala aka Karikaalan appears as a saviour of the people, one who fights to protect his dear ones. And Nana Patekar is the stark opposite, sporting white overall, just like politicians and sinister as hell!
The teaser has crossed 10 million hits on video-sharing site and has been trending on number one in 17 different countries. The teaser is released in three different languages, such as Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
The film is about a guy, who runs away from Tirunelveli in his childhood to Mumbai and becomes a powerful don living in the slums of Dharavi. He is Kaala to those who oppose him or try and oppress him.
The film is directed by Pa Ranjith, who made Kabali with Rajinikanth in 2015.
The movie is slated for 27th April 2018 release.
